Maximizing Your Florida Home Warranty: A Comprehensive Guide

Hi, I am Daniel with Comfort Zone of North Florida. If you have a home warranty in Jacksonville, Yulee or Fernandina Beach, here is how the process works with us, in plain terms, so you do not lose time on a hot Florida day.

How Home Warranty Service Works at Comfort Zone

First, warranty customers need an active work order from their warranty company before service. That work order is what lets us service the equipment. Once the work order is active, Comfort Zone services the equipment.

Second, warranty work is serviced Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm. That window is for warranty work. If your system stops cooling outside that window, call us at (904) 406-0070 and we will talk through your options. We are open 24 hours, 7 days for other service.

Third, questions about warranty parts coverage go back to the warranty company. We do not set that coverage, and we will not guess at it for you. Ask your warranty company what parts are covered, then bring that answer to the visit.

North Florida Notes That Help

Florida heat, humidity and salt air work a system hard, especially in coastal Nassau and Duval homes. Keep the filter clean, keep the outdoor unit clear, and note the model, the message on the thermostat and any code you see before you call. That helps us start in the right place once your work order is active.

For a plain look at our own residential services, see our residential page. If you need a diagnostic outside a warranty claim, our diagnostic is $99, with findings in writing before work starts. Our technicians are EPA certified, factory trained and NATE certified, paid hourly with no commissions, and Comfort Zone has served North Florida since 2009 as a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer.

Ready to start? Get your work order active with your warranty company first, then call Comfort Zone at (904) 406-0070, Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm for warranty work.
